2025 trip to France and northern Spain
For this year's trip (and I hope there is a trip every year), we wanted to go to Bordeaux in particular. The flight would be in and out of Paris so of course we had to spend some time there. We had heard a week was not long enough, but that was all we gave it. We decided not to chance the cold and rain likely for an autumn tour of France and instead to re-visit Spain, this time seeing new sights in the north.
Based on our previous big trip, we created an itinerary that favored lots of walking, wine education, and of course great food. I hope you will enjoy my notes and maybe even find them useful for your own adventures!
